Artificial weapons made by a private company, but the scientist who help make them realized hat the company was gonna use them for, so he secretly sabotaged the filed and designs so they couldn’t make more and uploaded an updated program to the original prototype the purple one, her “sisters” are the only other that came off the factory line before the virus took hold and she uploaded her program into them.
So escaping with the scientist and are now on the run.
