Now that one, I *have* seen twice! I was quite impressed from an animation/design/technical point of view, and also enjoyed the Chinatown references, but the story and humor left me a bit disappointed towards the end. Exxxxcellent for the audio and visuals, though, and I applaud ILM on their first character animation feature, very impressed. I liked the departure from the usual soft and cuddly style of 3D films, and I liked over all that it didn't feel like a kids' movie.

Yeah, it didn't feel like a kids' film to me either and the weird departure at the end left me puzzled as well. x_x The best word I have for it so far is 'peculiar'. xD

I'm guessing from his clothing you mean Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas? No, I've not seen that myself, though I hear it's pretty good, if a bit of a head-spin! x3 Have you seen A Scanner Darkly? Another drug-infused mindfudge, but I really liked the unique cel-shaded on top of live action visuals. ^^
