The reason why I'm asking here of all places is cuz I got my ad blocker from a recommendation here years back. ANYhoo, if I click on " allow Youtube ads, " will clicking on it do all the " work "? I don't know much about my ad blocker other than that I have one. It doesn't seem to be a factor in using or uploading videos on Youtube so I may not mess with it since it's only on this computer anyway.
Thanks for all the help.

If you're using Chrome... don't. They're pretty much going to break ad blocker support with the next major release of Web Extensions.
Even with Firefox, It's possible you may have to force update your blocker every now and then. Since YouTube has declared war on ad blockers and downloaders, updates have been coming out more frequently, and sometimes the filter updater doesn't react quickly enough. What you need to do is update your adblock filters, not the extension itself.
From the Firefox hamburger menu, choose "Settings", then in the bottom left "Extensions and Themes". Choose your ad blocker extension. Look for a link to "Check for updates". Note that this specifically updates your ad blocker filters. Just clicking the gear icon and checking for updates for ALL your extensions isn't enough.

As others have said, I also use Firefox + uBlock Origin, and it works, I haven't seen that block or anti adblocker screen ever.
Google just want to mess with people, even when they were who messed Youtube in the first place forcing us to use ad blockers.
I also have my Firefox on desktop configured to automatically clear all cookies, cache and logins and other privacy stuff, everytime I close the application, that might help, I have lo login everytime I open Firefox and load Youtube, but seems that might help avoid that annoying anti adblocker screen.
Maybe you may try on your broswer cleaning the cookies to see it that helps, or even going further and deleting active logins, cookies, cache, site settings and offline website data, if your browser lets you choose what content to clear, be careful that clearing everything will also may delete bookmarks, browsing history and such if your browser don'.t let you choose what specifically to delete / clear.
Hope this helps you

I use Brave and all I did was update my beowser and POOF! No more video limits from Youtube.
I know YT wants to make people feel guilty about not having ads, but there's no way I'm going to sit through 2 minutes of commercials so I can watch 5 minutes of a video before the next set of commercials before I can finish the last 3 minutes of a short video.
