Well, using the badge that  snappy_wolf made me I cut out the image, extended the wings a little in places, and inversed the black with white and the like and came out with something I think would look decent to a corner page.

Probably needs some touch ups, and looking at it now, a wing membrane extender to from that one digit to the back.

Will have the page numbers in the corner like that, so it adds a little something to the page, as well as informative with page numbers. I assume if I do a flip of this for the other side it'll work okay as well, though that might be almost to much Dragon icon.

Getting a variety might be good, or even icons that depict the particular catagory of recipes... Of course, that's getting into cookbook design which, I have ideas.

I tend to like categorizing into "Meal type" though coming up with something different could be rather nice too.
