"It's just a missing kid. I'll find her easily."

That was went through the octoling's head when she entered the temple. Now she wished she had told someone where she was going. When she found the kid she was shocked to find them dressed in jeweled garb and mummified. The last thing she remembered before she was knocked. When she awoke, she had been given the same treatment. She noticed the inkling had been sat on the ground next to her she realized a way for them to both escape.

Now they were both hopping through a labyrinth with no idea how to get out. What's worse, some spirit thinks the two of them are the temples princess and is chasing them down. Both the octoling and inkling hop to what they assume is the exit. Only for three shadowy hands to grab the octoling mid jump, and as they pull her back towards the darkness, one more hand reaches out and grabs the kid she had tried to save.

Both and pulled back into the darkness. A shared sarcophagus waiting for the both of them. They struggle with all their might but can do nothing as they are placed inside. As the lid slowly closes the octoling struggles one more time to no avail. She screams for help into her gag as the lid closes shut.
They'll be rescued, eventually, but there was no telling as to when it will happen.

I'm pretty proud of myself for this one. I've been trying to create that hopping effect that I see artist use and I think I got it.
