Here's the final sketch I completed at Furry Weekend Atlanta this year, and one which I think I'm most proud of. This is an image I had in mind for months, hoping to finish it in time to prepare for Anthrocon's art show. At the time of sketching it during FWA, I didn't quite feel my skill was ready to attempt the image I had in mind, but I went through with it anyway, reminding myself that when I began writing Auran Connection I hadn't felt ready for that either, yet was now on the verge of completing its second draft.
Here, we see Khalil, my fennec fox warrior nomad from ancient Raikonia. Apparently, he's caught sight of someone he's been hunting. Judging by the way he's pulling at his sword, it's almost as if he's daring the viewer to make the first move. One must choose the next actions carefully, as tangling with a fully-trained Sage is not the wisest thing for one to try...

Actually, from the few pics I've seen fennec ears appear to be fairly soft. If so, the weight of the hood might flatten the ear. Or the weight might be uncomfortable enough that he'd hold his ear flat to lessen the pressure on it.
Or maybe I'm just thinking about this too much.
