Thermite hates being seen with his hair down, as he loves being punk 24/7.

Unfortunately, a good night's sleep usually straightens it all out by morning, much to his disgruntlement.

Fortunately, his elaborate hair care routine can fix it right back up.

This was just a fun little animation I wanted to make after talking with  VJB about how Thermite would look with his hair down, and how he goes about styling it into its usual spikey shape. I also got to experiment with my Unreal setup and discovered to my utter delight that my submesh system can handle swapping out meshes in the middle of an animation, albeit with some setup that would make it impractical to do more than a couple of times manually. I also got to finally use an animation blueprint to drive the secondary motion of his antennae, which would've been a lot more difficult to set up in Maya in a very controllable way!
