This was made for the  Thursday_Prompt holiday story exchange, specifically for  Major Matt Mason.

So this took a little bit, but it's finals season so that's my excuse. Regardless, I wanted to do something light and neat, and while I may have gotten a little carried away with the math, I hope that this is good for both explaining the interesting aspects of physics and just being an interesting story. Admittedly, the "furryness" of this may have gotten a little sidelined, but you can't have everything I suppose.
