Hmmmmmm...
No actually it is correct. Look at the angle on the belly scutes, in the mid panel they are to the right and in the bottom panel to the left, and the higher side is implied forequarters.
The artist did a 180 reverse shot... which is usually advised against as it can be confusing, which the picture demonstrates. The internal with the intestines are tail-side, but tail-side has swapped positions on the page.
