A very long overdue piece for 
aheria, of her maned wolf/jaguar hybrid. I had promised her this probably over a year ago when I celebrated my 100th FA watcher. And now how many watchers do I have? More than double that amount. Yay! I'm slowly but steadily winning over the furry community. >D Anyhow, that was more than a year ago... but I hope this was worth the wait! Thanks for watching, Aheria (and everyone else!) Maybe when I hit 300 watchers I'll give out some more free art. So SPREAD THE WORD. :D
Done with Easy Paint Tool SAI, entirely while Livestreaming. :) And I'm pretty darn fond of the feathers. They are referenced from feathers from real bird species! Anyone care to take a stab at identifying them?

Great! I'm so glad you like it. :D I'm really sorry it's taken me this long to get it to you. x) But! The good part about waiting is that I've vastly improved my artistic skills since I promised you this. :P
And btw... the yellow feather is from a flicker, the red one a cardinal, and the green one from a parrot. :)

I'm tickled that you had fun with the feathers... I really mean it when I say "any color": and a lot of people default to the three primary colors... which is fine, but really, do what you will with them. XD
I didn't even rerember, to be honest! I have a hard time rerembering last week nevermind THAT far back :) It was a wonderful surprise! :D

My old ref page (before it became a single sheet) said any species too... doing real birds is a lot of fun as well. When I color myself, I tend to do gradients lately....
You know, you are right... I can't think of any birds with orange flight feathers either. maybe purple iridecent, but how do you do that with digital media? XD
