Seems Variel here is having quite the unlucky night. Tailing a cargo plane in the hopes of some easy money led her over Sukeutese held territory and more worryingly, flak. Needless to say, she didn’t stand much of a chance, forced to bail out over a forest. As if that wasn’t bad enough, she had the humiliating situation of being stuck in a tree and having her life raft automatically inflate on top of that. To top it all off, a patrolling member of the Imperial military police stumbled across the hanging hyena. He’s more confused than anything, no doubt wondering who she even is. Considering the complete lack of insignia, the piercing and of course her bright parachute indicates she’s a civilian. Not military. If anything at the very least, there’s a chance she won’t be held prisoner considering she’s technically a non-combatant.
