Yet another Extinctioners OC that is vastly underdeveloped. This fellow's name is Ivan Antonov, a Humanimal leopard seal with supernatural strength that is given to him by the magical gemstone embedded into his chest. The stone itself is actually a magical item that was brought to Alden generations ago, presumably by magic users who traveled between the realms. Upon making contact with it, it fused itself onto Ivan's chest and embodied him the super strength and durability, making him almost indestructible. However, using the stone also drains energy from his body, and the more he withdraws from it the weaker he becomes.

The story I wrote for Ivan is that he was an ordinary underwater mine worker in the arctic regions of Alden where he came across the stone by accident. Upon gaining his new powers, it immediately painted him as a target for Omega Hunters who picked up on his unusual energy signature and detained him like the other Humanimal mutants and brought to a slave camp. It was there that he met a Remalon named Orion (see his entry in my gallery) whom he befriended and worked to free themselves and eventually work together as an independent team to fight against the humans while also surviving from the surrounding governments that also wished to exploit them. Ivan is gentle giant of sorts with a calming demeanor about him despite his size and newfound strength, but that doesn't mean he is weak-hearted or even a pushover. The guy can definitely hold his own and will not falter when it comes to protecting those closest to him. His kindness also acts as a filter to Orion's hot-headed shallowness and the two work well in hand together...possibly literally. Xp

This is another one I liked the outcome with, but never expanded on. I do need to get more material between him and Orion as I always had it in my head that these two are rather cute together, particularly due to the fact that I got them both commissioned as a pair and I have been slowly turning them from being not only team partners, but 'actual' partners. ^^
