Commission for  Kernkraftwerks featuring a dropship from their sci-fi world building project. This piece was a lot of fun to make, I was able to go with my more loose, painterly style and I could put more emphasis on the environment. Creating the composition was very exciting too, not only playing with the foreground and background elements but also with colours and saturation, since the rainy jungle and the base is pretty de-saturated and gloomy, so the engine's bright orange glow draws the eye to the center.
Overall I'm very happy on how this turned out and while drawing aeromorphs is always good, it was nice to draw a non-anthro aircraft for a change. c:
