Hi Tisket,
Welcome to my world in dealing with a curly tail, which has been the biggest hurdle in working with Corn. As usual, my costume tail is a part of the costume. I resorted to vacuum hose with elastic to give the tail the curl. Always a work in progress. Hopefully, the snappers or zippers achieve what you are looking for.
