(So starting from today, my best friend
AnonymousKat and I will be counting down the days towards Christmas Eve. Though we'll be doing it in style involving AU's that we made together. He'll be making the artwork that I credit him form, while I provide the stories behind them. So enjoy the first one involving the AU involving our basketball team, The Anthros!)
(Though before that, a quick recap just in case we have anyone new and who're confused, or people have forgotten.)

(With that, let's begin for real.)
So it one normal day after our team The Anthros decided to take a Christmas break, and everyone was invited to our Harold Grifter's place to spend time together before Christmas. And someone of us were actually allowed to bring one guest as our plus one as well. So I decided to invite my dad Arsalan, and it made me glad he was willing to come. Though even knowing he would be able to handle the cold without a coat, I did find myself relieved he made sure to wrap up before we headed out.
I'll explain quickly. But I'm actually Arsalan's adopted son, yet he always made sure to treat me as though I was always his little cub. Still makes me glad to be his son though.
Anyway, back to the main story. Everyone was able to come, and turned out that Kat even brought his dad as well. And who was nonother than Mauga, a player of team Atlantis. Even though I have heard about him and seen pictures, this was pretty much the very first time I saw him in person.
While everyone from the team, besides Kat, Harold and I who were helping with the feast for lunch were enjoying themselves, the 3 of us overheard my and Kat's dads talking to each other. I'm sure we recalled hearing about their lives, their experiences with fatherhood, and even about us as well. I'll admit it was nice hearing from their perspectives and experiences about raising Kat and I each, but it soon took a turn for the surprising when our dads stripped off the top half of their clothing... and shook hands while getting a grip of their strength?!
Yeah, that turned out to be quite strange to witness. Especially since Kat and I also regard Harold as yet another dad when he's not our coach. Though Kat told me he swore he saw the bear blushing. Guess he got a good look at their muscular bodies, especially with an oil-like substance you'd see in oil wrestling from my dad's body.
Well this pre-Christmas feast was certainly eventful. But at least it gave everybody a chance to bond more, as teammates and friends.
(Also FYI, if you know what the handshake between Arsalan and Mauga is referencing... Good for you. ^_^b)
