Spyro had been once been a cocky and impulsive young dragon who is eager to show off his skills and jump into danger without thinking ahead. And once was very egotistical, always thinking of himself and filled with overconfidence. Though once graduated hos ego has disapated (well only a little) and had became more reliant on his friends and teammates.

And for Cynder though born from a evil king she had a desire to do good. Much like Eon, Cynder is much more energetic, with her body language immediately expressing her happier state of mind through acrobatics and a neck flexibility that can barely keep up with her excitement when meeting her idols, however made her have internal conflicts on whether her destiny was to be good or evil. After her meeting with Spyro and joining Skylanders Academy, Cynder becomes more confident in her abilities and the choices she makes, but retains hesitation when confronting evil doers.

Spyro and Cynder's relationship at first start as instant friends. Teacher and student. Though they denied it at first and possibly for a few weeks or months. Though overtime they begin romantically feel something for each other. Though it started out awkward moments for them. Though they admitted their feelings for each other and begin dating and they don't want to hide their relationship for each other
