The Greyl is a nature spirit of the north, reveling in the collection of information, sensation and memories. When invoked, one can make deals with the Greyl, receiving great wealths of knowledge from them, or at least the ability to obtain such. However, she receives her pact payment in form of memories.
Once a bargain is struck, one might be granted the knowledge required to construct technologically advanced machinery, discover wisdoms long lost, master runecrafting, become an expert herbalist, grow to be an unrivaled tactician or statesman. After an alloted time however, the Greyl will demand her due. Memories and experiences, stealing away anywhere from weeks to years of the bargainer's past life.
