Original description: Art trade with johndrawerX.
Originally this was gonna have Johndrawer X fight the Robot Masters from Mega Man, but I wanted to include one of the Digi Masters who will feature in Ordna Awakens, namely Mortalis Renamon. Oh man, did I do a bad job with drawing Mortalis originally, I REALLY wanted to redesign him a bit and I thought it would be cool to have Johndrawer X fighting the Digimon veteran alongside the Robot Masters. The final image will be based loosely on the Warhammer40k art of the Emperor about to fight Horus, with the corpse of one of Mortalis' enemies taking the place of Sanguinius' corpse.
Man, I'm tired though. I probably should have waited on this tomorrow, but that pose of Mortalis Renamon is just so cool, even if it's a little too boastful for an honourable martial arts type of character. If anyone's wondering where Mortalis Renamon's grey staff looking weapon, the Mortal Wounder is, it's hidden in his stage due to it's sheer power making it deserve heavy protection. Indeed, the Digi-Master who is weak to his weapon is none other than an ultimate-level Digimon!
JohndrawerX (the cat guy) belongs to, well, himself really.
JohndrawerX is sure a cool guy, he's done a good bit of fanart for me, including when we did this art trade together. This is actually a toned-down version of the original pic. I got rid of the blood and gore from Ice Man's body and made it so he's sneaking a bolter ready to fight against Mortalis Renamon to make this non-mature for FurAffinity. I just couldn't bring myself to omit this art trade pic that I did for JohndrawerX those two years ago, he's a great pal and so I decided to ultimately make this safe for FurAffinity since the original pic was full of gore. You can actually tell where I edited this pic since my lineart is much cleaner and less scrungi on Ice Man.
If you're here on FurAffinity JohndrawerX, I really hope you see this and enjoy it as much as the original! Maybe we could make some more art trades on here sometime?
