Here's the completed unit, with the installed amp provided by my roomate with the back able to be closed with the leather hinges attached with carpet tacks.

As you can see the wires are 16gauge and travel in series from biggest to smallest. though I like the way it sounds without added insulation I might cut some foam sides for it later and see if I need to rewire it in any way.
I was also told we might be needing a monitor for stage use

The amp model is GX-15 made by CRATE.
