"Mo... mo... ko..."
Momoko groggily stirred in her sleep when she hear what sounded like Miyoko whispering weirdly and at least lifted her upper body upright. "What izzit, Miyako?" she asked with a slur, her eyelids far too heavily.
"Everything... trying... eat... me-"
"Look, it was just a bad dream," Momoko reassured despite how irritable she sounded. "Just do what I tell my l'il sis does and remember that it's not real."
She flopped down on the bed to drift away but one open of her eyelid would've made the difference. The sight of a metal snake holding Miyako in her coils and slowly strangling her would've been the adrenaline boost she needed to transform and save her bestie.
