Concept of a Coraxian, 2023
This here is a fantasy draft for a sneaky race of bird folk by the same name, to use as an open species in my writing material.
While regarded highly intelligent, the raven-like Coraxian preferes to reside in tribal communities with its kin, however its kind is more known for an aptitude of infiltrating civilization and can often be found living in symbiosis or parasitic relationships with the other races in the world. Clothed in dark apparel and living off of thieving, also ambushing its prey with lethal precision, as the Coraxian originates from a deep, dark woodland.
Coraxian native society is built around the reign of Warlocks, who dedicate their existence to the veneration of otherworldly patrons, where in most cases these patrons are ambivalent beings from the realm of demons. Dark rituals and magic are a more common practice for the leading caste among them.
The average Coraxian is tall-measured between 6 to 8 feet in height, normally unable to fly its wings, yet vested in a rich plumage. Nighttime and darkness poses the element of choice for the Coraxian, where he feels at his safest. Male eye color commonly comes in blue or black hues, while the female gender commonly have green eye tones.
The average lifespan of the Coraxian goes inbetween 40 to 50 years, barring the Warlocks who are able to preserve themselves for over centuries in the most rare cases.
