When Jon says it's time for balance training that could mean a few things, either just simple katas while trying to keep in place on something like a post, keeping on a log while you dodge stuff thrown at you, or in this case sitting in his gut while he does training.

Most of the time it's the last one and any complaints or resistance means more time in the tank or more training methods involving him eating you, so...pick your next words wisely.
