Mentioned before but I sometimes wonder what would have happened if he hadn't been a dickbag about things. Don't get me wrong, zero chance of this leading to some kind of relationship, extra eww given the situation.

But I wonder if it could have lead to more respect and less hostility. Either way, character fucked any chance of this not being a nightmare so meh. I just like exploring alternate timelines, see where the road not taken leads.

Id like to think that him being kicked out of the community and being exposed for being the.... as you would put it... dickbag...I like to image he'll go off and do some growing and maybe after some time and some proof that he'd learnt from his mistakes that people could move on. I don't know how much time that is or how you show to a community you've changed enough for them to give you a second chance? Maybe you cant? Maybe you just have to walk away and know you can't ever go back there and that bridge is well and truly burnt. That door is closed to you forever. That's not neat and tidy and conveniently tied up, but life very rarely ever is neat and tidy

Definitely not getting a second chance anytime soon in the local community, but maybe after years and in another distant location he could be given a second chance. All I want for him is to grow and realize his mistakes.

Once one burn a bridge there is no coming back.

Somethings are forgivable, but people will never forget and stay alert.

Sorry, I guess I meant more along the lines of if instead of thinking "oooh I can exploit the fuck out of this" he had some "friends" walk in and drop the padded behind of one of his subordinates in his lap and thought "Oh, ffffffffffffuck. Well, this is embarrassing, awkward, and possibly problematic for me but this must be quite possibly one of the most horrifying moments in her life, what the fuck do I even do?" I mean. I like to think the vast majority of people in this situation would be freaking out and extremely upset, not looking to exploit it.

Also, sorry if my use of language offended you, I could have just said "awful person" instead of escalating to foul language...... ("So a duck walks into a bar, walks up to the bartender and screams "QUACK!". The bartender looks at him, shocked, feeling self conscious the Duck adds "Pardon my fowl language".." Sigh why does this stuff pop into my head....)

As to the acts involved. I blessedly am free of this sin or anything remotely like it. But I am not a perfect person. There are things which haunt me as there are things that haunt most people. I find that for some, it is enough to ask forgiveness, for others, all you can do is be available to those who need you, to choose what is right over what is convenient, and in all things choose kindness over anger, even if it is only the kindness of silence. For this case, what he did isn't something to be forgiven or forgotten, even by him self, it isn't even a thing for community or the victim to forgive, all there is is to be better, silently, invisibly, for no greater reason than to be better.

Or as The Doctor put it, when you have no hope, when no one is watching, and when nothing is promised in return, to do what is right because it is what is right.

It's really not up to star. He recorded folk at a private event without their consent and got caught. Regaining that trust I'm not sure is possible. Maybe moving, growing from his mistskes and finding a new community might be easier than hoping his current one forgives him
