I really lucked out with commissions at FWA and I was able to sell a lot of them, so I decided to take some of that money and get art markers. This will help me make more art, make different kinds of art, and do commissions in the future (if I'm able, which I hope will be the case).
So, not having used them for quite some time, I started doing a few test runs...
The first one I came up with is a small character drawing of my swordsman character Siddhartha. As you can see, he was intended to have a garishly colored outfit and two-toned hair, which you can all enjoy now! I think he's one of the best designs I've come up with, and the most fun to draw, although I haven't been able to think of a thing to do with him. But I love that hair.
He's also got his favorite coffee mug, which reads "Do not operate heavy machinery while under the influence".
Also yes I accidentally inverted the color scheme of his purple coat from what it should have been, the markers and pencil layers are all screwed up here.
More art to follow...!
