Another OC entry for the Guardians of the Garden arc of Extinctioners. This one's name is Edel, a Catarian which is  ebonyleopard 's fictional species of taur in this universe. Catarians act as protectors of the forests within the Garden of Eden and are considered very honorable and noble warriors. I wanted to branch out from normal cat species and went with a rare bay cat design for him to make him stand out more, plus I thought the lighter body type would suit him better for speed in being a swordsman. :3

Edel here is a middle-aged Catarian who is a bit of a tough-as-nails loner who does his part in helping keep the forests safe while also doubling over as a sword trainer for hire to those who seek his expertise as a professional in swordsmanship, especially with duel-wielding melee. Though he can be very gruff and serious, he does have a softer side to those that know him personally, even if that trust of his can be very hard to earn. He is particularly untrusting and aggressive with Displacer beasts as they are a frequent source of tension and violence within the realm, and the necklace he wears of the fangs he's collected from their tentacles clearly displays his battle prowess against them. Aside from his two swords, he likes to be relatively light on his paws, and only has a small belt pouch for necessities. Catarians are never big on armor in this way, and thus rely heavily on their skills and expertise of the land alone to keep themselves alive.

This is another one I really need to get back to. I absolutely adore how well he came out and has such a cool weapon set that he would make a nice character to continue to work on. That and he would make for nice action pieces too.! ^^ And, you know, on top of being such a handsome stud of a forest cat. :p
