My newest character Bruce<3
He is a Inostranevia Gorgonopsid : a critter that was before the dinosaurs.
I wanted another male character but of an animal that isn’t used a lot and I’ve always like the gorgonopsids.
His coloring / markings are a mix of the okapi and bongo.

That's cool! I love going with inspired markings for various creatures and earth tones are real fitting for gorgonopsids. Great look for the handsome fellow, hope to see more of him in the future <3

Thank yous qwq <33 Agreed! I wanted to give him a coloring that would give the gorgonopsids justice and a play on how they might of looked. I love the bright colorful ones out there but it’s just something about the natural colors / markings. I plan on making more art of him <3 I just didn’t realize his markings were gunna be a b to do xD but he’s my boo <3

I like his okapi-like coat. Paleoartist usually use panthers as a color reference for gorgonopsid, but it makes their appearance like an alien panther, instead of a real prehistoric animal.
