been designing a creature. weird little chickendragon. two legs, two wings, strong prehensile tail with a weird grabby bean at the end. feet are about as functional as hands.

the tail evolved to help with taking flight, both from the ground (they do a big spring off the bean after a running start) and by helping them climb trees and cliffsides to take off from there.

subsequently, having what amounts to a third limb may have allowed their feet to evolve to have all the uses of hands -- despite, unlike humans, still having to use them for walking and climbing.
