Winter in December is quite cold, especially since it started snowing as well. A small price for what I'm hoping this year will be a white Christmas, since I pretty much wish for it every year. But that's not the important thing though.

Since getting to know Taylor and building a friendship with him, I've met all sorts of people he knows. Including some friends of his, and even his boyfriend Cecil. Though I've only heard about his dad, yet I was told that the big guy was looking forward to meeting me soon when it would be a good time.

Luckily that good time would be coming, as Taylor personally invited me to spend the holidays with him. I'll admit it was quite a surprise, but I decided to accept while notifying my friends and loved ones of the arrangement, as well as working out what'll happen.

So the day came, and I eventually arrived at Taylor's home again after it had been a while since the last visit. And Taylor himself was able to greet me, while mixing what I presume is the contents for a chocolate cake inside of a bowl. Of course, his boyfriend Cecil was also there as we exchanged gifts and greetings.

Then came quite a big cat, who introduced himself as Taylor's father. Verse Kitsune. We introduced ourselves, revealing that I was the friend his son spoke about fondly... And I ended up being hugged from behind in his arms. Taylor was certainly right about his dad looking forward to meeting me. Guess Verse was really excited about meeting his son's best friend.

Though... there was something I could swear smelled like something burning. Cecil was the first to smell the air, and tell Taylor. What resulted was quite a comedic moment as the lovers had to stop the kitchen from burning down, and tried salvaging dinner. One lapse in judgement, and you get situations with that. Though did make things memorable.

Overall, it was nice seeing Taylor and Cecil again. Along with meeting the former's dad as well, even if he was quite a bit of a cuddle monster. Which I didn't complain about in my defence. Though I wouldn't mind doing something like this again sooner or later.
