Infernape's Blessing
"A-ack...! What's happening to me...?"
He dropped the monkey-shaped idol as he felt an overwhelming sense of heat build within his body, his knees shaking and his brow furrowed.
"REJOICE, FEEBLE VESSEL," a booming voice echoed within his head, YOU HAVE BEEN CHOSEN."
His skin was starting to turn blue, and a layer of brownish-orange fur was spreading atop his changing body. At the base of his spine, a monkey-like tail was slowly emerging, growing longer and longer as his arms elongated slightly. "F-feels... warm... feels good..."
"LET THE MIGHT OF A POKÉMON COURSE THROUGH YOUR VEINS!"
Another layer of thick, white fur began to grow upon his torso, his clothes beginning to rip apart, unable to fit his growing muscular body. "N-no, but I'm... Inferrrr-uman...!" The warmth just kept growing within him, his hair beginning to smolder and smoke as his face began to crack and pop, pushing out into a monkey's muzzle. "I c-can't... hold it back..."
"EMBRACE YOUR BLESSING. ABANDON YOUR HUMANITY!"
His hands touched the floor, his posture now hunched to suit his new knuckle-walking body, and spots of yellow, armor-like plates having grown along his joints. "A-ah... S-so much heat... So much power...! Infeeerrrnnn... Rrrggghnnnaaape..." His ears elongated and flicked instinctively with each 'pop' and 'crack' his changing body made.
His body having almost finished its transformation, his hair erupted into a massive flame atop his head. "I'm...! Ahhh! Inn...! INFERNAPE!!!"
So, I'm a big fan of Infernape. I think it's a pretty underrated Pokémon, to be honest! I've always loved this adorable monkey, so being able to get am exceptional art piece from
Diethyl of me turning into one was wonderful! Please give them some love for their spectacular work!
