After a few days of wanting I managed to draw something and finish it today (17 December) - have Sam as a deer, specifically reindeer gal, wearing a raincoat because it's summer down here in Brazil and meant to be rainy - but also winter up north where reindeer live (and caribou, same animal) and during winter female reindeer have antlers out so she has them too, and have this as an early Christmas thing too :)
Taking this as an opportunity to explain some of Sam's "lore/abilities" too - regarding her solid parts like teeth, nails, sometimes hooves, horns and antlers and other stuff that shouldn't be squishy - I imagine it would function similar to a solid crystal formed from their goo, somewhat durable for daily use but easy to break if you're really trying, but it doesn't hurt them much and grows back after a while
2 hours after uploading I edited it to add a bauble hooked to her antlers for more Christmas-y
