This is a watercolor painting I've completed in my art class and was a lot of fun to do. It's a city scape that comes from a past videogame project called "The Chimera Project." Waler here is the captial of Roebuck, a nation of "minotaurs" which in the game was umbrella term for any of it's hooved anthro characters (which includes the classic bull-man minotaur.) The city reflects it's nation's culture, which was inspired as a mix between medieval Europe and feudal Japan. Waler itself was supposed to look like it's been around for a looong time, with lots of antiquated buildings and lots of weathering from the snowy climate. If you notice, the subjects painted into the scene inlcude Mike and I, and Zella across the street. The bronze statue on the bottom is of the city's founder and, acroding to the games story, the unifier of the minotaur nation through brutal warfare and the use of firearms, a hero or barbarian depending on who you ask.
This was incredibly difficult to paint, due to it's scenery being completely from my imagination (with references of Bavaria and Japan in different photographs). Plus everything in the painting is placed with composition in mind. And with all that said, enjoy = )
