Felt like doing a bit of fanart again and went with the goodest kitty of the DC universe. Also wanted to try and draw a cat with a much more rounded eye-shape rather than my normal style. And since I needed a background it was suggested a singularity. And though I could have done something like what we know black holes look like now, I felt like doing this instead. And because I wanted a bit of dichotomy I wanted to have Dex-starr in a playful pose with an abnormal angle and then be playing with something far less wholesome. Though the angle was actually because i just happened to start drawing the head with the canvas turned in that way and just kept it.

As for the drawing itself I like how the shading turned out, though I probably should have gone much less subtle/muted on the lantern aura, and probably put it around the skull as well. Else the only other complaint I really have is that I didn't get the face quite right, but it isn't an angle I'm used to. Overall time of 4 hours spent.
