More from Wotan
This is somewhat of a companion piece to an earlier work I did back in 2015 with the title: HE'S A MILITANT VEGAN
Not a lot to see here, other than a rough, Free-Verse spite-poem that came about from hearing the term "Carnist" one-too-many times being bandied about by vegan fanatics, as a stigma term designed to "other" those, who are not likewise vegans.
For the record: I have nothing against veganism as a concept, and I do not mock or belittle people simply for practicing veganism. What I do take umbrage against, however, is the sheer level of moral superiority that is often projected by many, who take to their veganism with an evangelical fervour, and will get right up in your face with it in ways that would put religious fanatics to shame.
Double-secret-bonus points for the type of Vegan fanatics, who freely toss around terms like: "genocide", "holocaust", and "nazi" to describe non-vegans.
So, if you are reading this, and you are a vegan, who is not a militant fanatic about it, this piece is not about you.
So, all that said, the things that I do mock, and do so both shamelessly and mercilessly, are fanaticism, belligerent moral superiority, and blind hypocrisy.
If that makes me a jerk, so be it.
I assure you I've been accused of far worse.
Also, unlike many fanatics (whatever their pet cause might be), I am under no illusion whatsoever that I am somehow "better" than everyone else.
