So I definitely knew I wanted Van Go to be orange rather than the typical yellow; one, because I thought the yellow would suit Lookout, and two, I wanted to keep his bright yellow mane from the show and needed some contrast. My favorite detail to add was the "paint-dipped" look to various locks of his hair, particularly his goatee and paintbrush tail-tip.

This one might be the one I have the fewest qualms with, possibly because I just had the clearest image of what look I wanted for him.
