Hee-ho howdy everyone! This is another thing I drew while dealing with my surgery pain-- so uh- it ain't the prettiest lmfao
I feel like I've talked about Nepron a lot (Thomza's biological father and not to be confused with King Midas), but I haven't really... Drawn him all that much. Even then they're nothing short of extremely old. Speaking of which I am going to redo Thomza's reference sheet from the ground up and give a bit of history about the setting.
For those who don't know, Nepron is the "Spirit of the Warrior", a living metaphysical concept who constantly comes back in avatar form. Consistently seeking out to create the strongest of champions to eventually take seize of the grand multiverse and those who live in it. He believes those who are strongest should rule over everyone, and everything must be taken by conquest. That anyone who remotely thinks that scholars and warriors should be separated are nothing short of fools. His past is unknown and lost to time, but it is assumed he's been around long before the grand multiverse started, and the grand cycles were born. He cannot be truly slain, but he can be held back and defeated for extended periods of time.
Thomza of course is the son of Nepron and Patchyella, but as we all know his plans were thwarted to turn Thomza into a weapon. In the universe he was hiding in for the time being the gods found out about his true identity, and in their infinite wisdom, destroyed his entire hometown. Failing to take down Nepron and even failing to slay Thomza when he was a mere child. King Midas would adopt Thomza and raise him alongside Dudley, and of course this is where Thomza would learn all of his ideals and his childhood would be as a squire and a knight in training. However, whence Thomza reached adulthood he would be constantly challenged by Nepron and his offspring and created champions. For Nepron wishes to sway Thomza back over to his own side and become one of his underlings.
Other than that I think that's a... Pretty good summary of who he is. A man who creates army of the strongest of champions and has his eyes set on pure universal domination. The only thing that is known for sure is that Nepron was never a "hero", but he claims he isn't a bad guy either. He just truly somehow thinks military and strength should rule over all and there is no such thing as a "civilian" or those who do not fight. Having full beliefs that Thomza is weak and misguided for sacrificing so much for others because it's the "right thing to do." as these two could not be any further apart and are polar opposites of one another.
Thanks for reading lads, until next time!

I want to point out that this is an Epic Dark Fantasy setting with a lot of mythological and religious tones and that there is no real-life connection to any of these events, religions, characters and it is fully, grounded, in fantasy. There is no copyright infringement also intended to other forms of media as Skin to Scales is meant to be its own thing and something I've been working on for a very long time. This is the same setting where faith is a massive part of the magic system, and it is usually meant to have a very bright and colorful art style to help balance the tone.

FUN FACTS:
Fun Fact: Nepron does not see himself as a Knight, but as a "Crusader" or a "Paladin" as he still follows his own oaths, even if they're barbaric in nature. Both Thomza and Nepron are very firm in what they believe in and will always butt heads.
Fun Fact 2: Thomza is far from his first child, and despite being the strongest of his children, Nepron believes Thomza is his biggest failure.
Fun Fact 3: Nepron is not a god or a spirit, but always seems to reincarnate with all his memories in-tact with most of the same looks
Fun Fact 4: Nepron is a dragon in human disguise, he believes the disguise makes him look way weaker so his opponents can underestimate him
