T'is the time to be grateful. And there's no one to be more grateful for in recent years than the Original Grumpster™ himself, as I'm sure what he's done for me in all these years no other human being in their right mind would have done for someone else, even more someone they haven't known for all that long.

It's through your support, patience and consideration that I'm still around today, and though our road has been a bumpy one, straight, smooth roads make for a boring journey.

I've been blessed with many kind, sweet and generous friends. Looking back, I fear I've done most of them wrong because I'm usually so absorbed into my own struggles to realize theirs and the meaning of their gestures before the connection has been severed to a point there is no recovery. That goes to show that the people that really matter in your life are the ones that stick around despite all that.

Despite our silly banter suggesting the lion is the only cranky one, I'm also not super easy to deal with, and I honestly don't know where Zodd finds so much patience to deal with me when he doesn't seem to have nearly as much for most people out there. I still fear one day he'll realize he's been wasting his time with me and just kick me out the door. :hehe:

(But please don't, I have nowhere else to go in this whole wide world!)

I tried putting a little bit of extra love into this one since I didn't like how the one I made for his birthday came out. I'm pretty proud of this one, and I'm confident I've done a quality job.

It's not much compared to all you've done for me, but I hope it can at least stand as a solid memento of my gratitude and love for you. When no one else was there for me, for some reason you were, and that makes you the most important person in my life.
