slip sleeves, the standard. its more of a paperboard or cardstock than a typical cardboard. if you've got a large collection, and no great place to display them its a great way to keep them organized. tapes without sleeves aren't a great idea, and you don't get even one more tape's worth of space by removing the sleeves anyways.
(eh, seen some with rooms full of boxes like that, and they all get watched. can never have too many imo)
