Spawned from a fox that would not leave Therian alone on one of his trips to the mortal plane and showing remarkable intelligence for a feral beast, Therian gifted the young fox demon lordship and even a large portion of territory in his realm. Ki'Rin is extremely loyal and thankful to his Master for his gifts. While he does enjoy playing games, especially mind games, and getting a good laugh, he isn't the typical silly fox stereotype. And if he has to get serious he will without hesitation.
