The holiday season can be overwhelming. Both the positive and negative -- from the overstimulating Christmas cheer to the overzealous consumerism. Everyone seems to be either bursting with energy, or on the verge of a breakdown all season. It's always important to take the time to just step out into the crisp evening air and just take in the calm beauty of winter.
Dawn makes sure to step out at night every evening she spends in her mountain cabin to just stargaze, enjoy the sparkling snowfall, feel the cold air tickling her lungs.
On this particular night, Dawn was greeted with the most beautiful scene. A vibrant green aurora borealis lit up the entire mountainside with a display of colors that danced magically against falling snowflakes. The scene was truly something magical, and the memory of this once-in-a-lifetime experience will live with her forever
