I've always liked red hair. Red hair with black eyeliner = hot.
Just wondering if I could get the look I like on other people.
I already have clothes I like on other people. lol

Although I don't own nor know how to use ANY makeup, so I'll have to go buy some black eyeliner, and then learn how to use it.
I rub my eyes way to much. So it would also take constant conscious thought to prevent from fucking that up too. lol

Leave it in muuuuuch longer than it says. I have almost black hair naturally and the nutrisse took forever to do it's thing, but it works!

I left mine in for 30 minutes. The box said 25, so if I redo it tomorrow with this color as a start, how long would you suggest I leave that in for?

I left mine in for an hour since the 25 minutes did NOTHING to mine. I've got really rough hair though since I'm part black so it might be different for you! I'd say do like 45mins, and see how the tips are, and leave it in for longer if it's not the color you want.
Otherwise I'd just say step the brightness up a shade. :3

I'll probably grab the same brand since I have a control to work with for the color I got out of allotted amount of time the box suggested. I'm not half black, obviously, I'm like the palest of pales, lol but I do have really thick hair thats typically resistant to anything, even styling.
Looks like my roots are going to be okay for color change, but I need to redo the bulk of my hair.
Guess I'll buy a lighter red, try 45 more minutes for the darkest parts, and then also buy a black in case I screw up so I don't have to go in public with dumb looking hair! lol

Try to stay away from ammonia based dyes if you chose something else, since it literally strips your hair. :3 (I forget if nutrisse is ammonia based or not :x )

Did it say to bleach it out a bit? Usually to get a richer or brighter color, you need to start from a lighter then end result/desired color. >_<

I measured the box example color to my hair tips in the store and everything before I even bought it. lol
I know if I bleach it it will be vibrant as hell, but I'm scared of bleaching my hair, and as a personal thing, I never want to see myself blonde. lol I'm ALMOST scared to have a bright red. So close to blonde! >.> haha well, its more that I don't want light hair I guess. I like my dark hair waaaaay to much. I feel like light hair wouldn't suit me at all. I don't think I could rock that look. If I got it a bright red, I'd have to learn how to use black eyeliner. =3 I think red hair and black/smokey eyes are hottttttttt.

Usually you have to bleach if you have a medium brown to black hair colour. :[ I know bleach sucks but you may either have to keep re-dyeing it or just bleach. When I tried to dye my hair red, it said right on the package that just the dye would be fine, but it wasn't. My hair did nothing but get speckled all over. I tried to re-dye it, got frustrated and just opted to bleach it. :p

If I do this again, and it comes out splotched, I'm reaching for the black. Lol

Its still redish brown, I have dark brown hair as well and I tried to dye my hair red once too instead it did what yours is doing. Its the Curse of darkhair.  Sarvix is right though.

Last time I even tried to dye it black, it turned dark brown!!

I've not only used that brand, but that exact color. My hair is also darker than yours in it's natural state I do believe. I just leave mine in twice as long as the box told me to, so almost an hour. :3

I may have had some leftover black dye in my hair from last time I tried. But even when I tried to dye my hair black (Same brand I believe) it just turned dark brown, and then faded out before it grew out.
I'll prolly go get some more today and try again. Someone above suggested I leave it in for 45 minutes the second time around.

Sometimes its just the brand of dye as well! I died my hair red once, and it was less vibrant than I desired, much like your situation! I went and got a different dye and it looked much better afterwards!

Some dyes also have trouble being dyed over, even with black. When I died my hair purple, and decided I wanted black again, the tips of my hair were still purple tinted after dying!

I hope this isnt one that has trouble being dyed over, cause that would suck.

The short hair didnt suit me so well. I've only got like 2 whole pictures that I look okay with short hair in. My face is to full to have hair that short and look good.

It may look dark but when you walk out in the sun I'm sure it will go -POW, LOOKIT ME I'M FUCKIN' COLORFUL-. That's how my hair usually looked after dying it but was blinding in actual sun light
