May or may not be final arranged song thing for Oku's theme? i like how it works - the intro is largely for chortles at this point, while the actual loop that would usually play in-game would be... well, it's the obvious part of the song that would loop? It's pretty much a minute long.
Had fun with it, tho, and I think my goal of drawing on my Tenpei Sato influence, Disgaea in particular, shows through quite a bit, especially on the bridge thing. I'm rather proud of what's there. c:
Reason it's WIP-ish is because if it's gonna be an arranged version, I'd like to do a longer rendition eventually with some of the other inevitable takes on his theme, like the battle version and possibly a slower, more bummed out one.

Yeh, I'm pretty happy with the Disgaeaness of it. c: Oku's one of my favorite character things I've come up with, just because he's a whimsical, scheming little prick. Ding!
But you know what I think the song needs? Mandolin. Or something. That's what I'm sitting on right now. Oh yes.
And maybe a bit more to the melody, like a second verse/bridge thing perhaps.

Oku's actually a pretty big deal in the HP/Trelldain canon, as he pops up sooner or later in pretty much every piece of the storyas the little impish brat sticking his nose where he shouldn't just to mess with people. Rest assured, I aim to do a battle rendition (Urakai specifically he regularly throws challenges at Dylan to, uh, press him to improve his skills I guess), but mandolin isn't the particular difference. I can't ge thte sound right, tho, so I focused on this slower version first, which will probably by the time I'm totally done segway into some sort of "now he is depressed here is some exposition" variant, because I can.

I love those reoccurin' characters! :D They're always the most entertaining, in my mind. And a battle version, you say? Oooohhhh! I look forward to that! :D
