Those were her words. For now, Arajakata could feel the embrace tighten around her joints. The grip firmly grabbing her very flesh and bones as she fell down the night.
She knew this power was her own, at worst just her very subconscious self...
But always when she summoned them...
It felt like a stranger. Like something trying to get in...

Though the light wasn't free from such drawback. Indulging in it felt like a force from inside, like a third hand grabing her blade...but in the dark, it was a hand from the outside pulling it down...

So heavy...everything was so heavy. She breathed, and could feel slightly lighter. As heat and cold rushed into her body, the toxins and poison triggering all sort of response and fever, the hiss that rang in her ear assured Raja she was still in control...

And as she took her stance, as death and darkness clawed out of the ground to reach the one that summoned it, Raja knew...
This whole forest would now be stripped of all life. And nothing would ever grow again...that was the price of her victory, and one she was willing to give. To swallow all and end this fight...for her sake
