Joining the party one day late, but here is a celebratory artwork for this year's Winter solstice. Mystical creatures carrying the flames to light up the darkest night of the year.
I quite enjoy using such simplified and more decorative style from time to time. It is close to the style I use in my college works, but is also inspired by a certain style/aesthetic I often see used by a bunch of different artists on the internet. Interestingly, the subject of their art is also often similar. My guess is that it may be inspired by medieval illustrations.
