One of my mom’s favourite Christmas treats to make come the holiday season!
Here’s how you can make it:
1-arrange square saltine crackers over a parchment lined baking tray until the tray is full
2-melt butter and brown sugar until a caramel mixture forms then pour and spread over crackers
3-pour choice of chocolate chips over the still-hot caramel layer then spread until all chips have melted, then decorate with sprinkles and other favourite toppings
4-cool in a reasonably sized fridge or freezer until solid
5-once cooled break with gloved hands or a hammer and store in a dry container until ready to serve!
