A soft cracking can be heard through the hollowing winds, alongside a gurgling groan. On an ice-flow sits a massively obese polar bear, she yawns gutturally as she floats across the dark sea, digesting her latest meal which took her far too much time and energy to hunt. She is oblivious to the ice cracking gently beneath her immense size, repositioning her heavy body by tossing and turning sluggishly, only causing more chasms to form in the flow's surface. A little more weight and she'd go plunging into the icy water below. Good thing fat floats...
