As always, I must leave a fashionably late response to every artwork /w\ It is hard to encapsulate how much I love this art!
The feeling this scenery evokes is incredible- there is such a tangible sense of mystery and ethereal beauty here! The distant trees, enveloped in light and reflections off the mist, give an incredible sense of depth and scale- the angle makes the viewer feel so small in a world so incredibly big and full of life. The texturing of the rocks and toro (stone lantern shrines) is so real, I can almost feel the softness of the moss and the cool and textured feel of the worn rock. I love the palette too, the greens and grays look so wonderful together! The tufts of foliage- needles pining for the sky, are so beautiful and the use of the gradually paler silhouettes to further intensify the light is just brilliant! I find myself endlessly amazed by your incredible skill with color composition- you always know just the right colors to bring a composition to life and make it soothing on the eyes! I really appreciate how Tsuna's purples go with the overall color scheme and the lighting on her yukata and face look so amazing~ I also must add, the folds of the clothing are positively gorgeous! it really gives a nice silky look, the way the light dances so softly across the fabric! I am so stunned by the fantastic skill you have for perspective! The stairs look amazing, as do the toro and stones lining the sides! I love the shrine atop the hill, shrouded in mystery as it awaits a courageous visitor! And the torii gate is absolutely gorgeous! I could lose myself in this scenery... you really captured the raw feeling of the mountaintops I visited in Japan, the sense of wonder in those moss-touched forests of infinitely tall trees and waves of mist that seem to swallow the earth as you climb. Having an artwork of my fursona who means so much to me, visit a magical kind of place so dear to my heart, means more than I could ever put into words. I feel transported back to Miyagi's mountains and shrines every time I look at this, and I am so grateful for you lending your incredible skills to bring this idea to life with a beauty beyond my wildest dreams. Truly, thank you ;;w;;
