It is a rare sight to ever see Duke smile, especially in his younger years. From his early teens to his near mid-age, Duke has almost never smiled. But once he became close to his friend, Fred, he became a more outgoing and light-hearted person, eventually getting a job as a mall security guard.

He's been through various memorable moments in his line of duty, but when the very kind Drako asked to lay on his belly one day, he couldn't turn down the opportunity.

Since then, Drako and Duke have been good friends and would spend time together at the mall either talking, playing games, or trying to wake Duke from his nap to make sure he doesn't get fired.

The artwork was done at request by the wonderful  kilijshark who wanted to spend some time with the big lug.
