A bit of an update and a bit of a vent on this situation: https://www.furaffinity.net/journal/10763764
So apparently there was more than one of my items taken down for IP infringement by a representative of Lisa Frank. The other being this:

The more I think about it, the more I think that it's possible that perhaps I'd forgotten to put the word "Inspired" in the title but I feel like even if I had:
A) All of my others have "Inspired" in the title and this was clearly an unintentional mistake
B) I make it clear in the item description that it is my artwork
C) I am not impersonating the brand or causing harm to its reputation and
D) JUST SEND ME AN EMAIL AND I WOULD HAVE REMOVED IT NO PROBLEM!
I currently have two listings removed and four violations on my Etsy shop -ON FUCK CHRISTMAS- and I feel like I'm going to cry.
I've woken up every day since this has happened just seething in anger so...Happy Holidays! Enjoy my ABSOLUTE PETTIEST ART YET

The sad part too is that my sisters loved Lisa Frank when we were all younger and I think because of that I always though it was for girls but I liked it too but seeing them do this to you has pretty much ruined their image to me and they are in the evil category now. But I love the picture!
Honestly, I still love Lisa Frank! I'm just feeling petty and wanted to do something fun and silly. I love mixing the bright colors and cheerful artwork with text that DOESN'T FIT the rest of the picture- I think it's hilarious and I'm glad you like it too!
While it is a third party representing Lisa Frank and not the company itself, it's still a bad look for the company. :P

Honestly I think you might be able to sell the prints on other sites besides etsy. I know some people like to use ko-fi and storenvy. It would definitely be a good idea to not put Lisa Frank anywhere in the titles or descriptions. I would just put something like "Nostalgic Rainbow Unicorn Art". I still love the art of Lisa Frank but it's terrible that this happened to you! I hope it doesn't happen again.
The biggest draw to Etsy for me is the built in driving of sales. I have.....very little reach online since I'm a rather private person haha.
Believe me, I'm working on scrubbing the name from the titles best I can around the holiday haha. I also do use all of those other words in the title because that's how you get seen. I honestly HATE having to name my things that way in order to get sales, but that's how SEO works lol.
An average title for my items reads something like "Galaxy Cat Alien Lisa Frank Inspired Rainbow Holographic 1990's Glitter Furry Poster Art Print"
If I had my way, the name wouldn't look like it was written by predictive text lmao. It's the same reason that Amazon listings are so long nowadays.
Either way, thanks for the support! This is part "lesson learned," part "this is ridiculous," and mostly part "Etsy recommends sending a message to work things out before going nuclear on a *very* small creator that made a simple mistake without thinking about it."

I could forgive the first take down as an honest goof up, but the "Painbow" one isn't even Lisa Frank-esque.
I think they're just using a program at this point that looks for keywords and/or photographic attributes. Which is a majorly flawed way to work.

After doing a little more research into the company representing them, I can absolutely confirm that a lot of the take-downs they do are things that are monitored by bots. It's possible that I've even been in talks/contact with one via email, too!

Bots have got to be the worst way to handle things.
Neopets has a similar system for their language rules. Some years ago I was having trouble sending a message because it had "profanity or sexual themes"
Did you ever realize "basement" has the word "semen" in it?
I hadn't, do now. Michelle also has "hell" in it.
Bots may open up manpower for more important things but damn are they faulty as all get out!

Haha, that's the problem with naming a company after yourself I suppose! At this point a lot of my rage is against the company representing Lisa Frank, but I'm about ready to go nuclear on both of them if this isn't resolved soon. :P
