As mentioned before, Ziggy runs a hotel of sorts, 'Callie's Place', in some other dimension. Ziggy herself cannot leave too far from this place, but her powers does occasionally pull in ones from other dimensions. That said, not every guest she has came across were pulled in. Babette is one of them.

Ziggy can tell if one comes without aid of her abilities, so when Babette appeared and wanted to look around, the mouse had her suspicions. Babette was less concerned about how the hotel was to reside in and more about just getting a feel for the area. But ultimately Ziggy gave her usual hospitality towards the odd creature.

The cryptid would soon reveal her intent: She was not only inspecting the hotel, but Ziggy herself. Babette was the representative of a form of other worldly power, and Ziggy, having the power to warp reality and space herself, was seen as a potential issue, should she try to, shall we say, take territory she had no business taking. But Babette could read Ziggy, and saw that, ultimately, Ziggy would rather not attempt something nearly as big. And for as long as that maintains, Ziggy would receive no issue to the ones who sent Babette.

That said, Babette would still visit every so often like many of her other guests, even treating Ziggy out to lunch or telling Ziggy a story.

Babette is a cryptid sheep, although she is not one to reveal much of her personal life. Whatever she does elsewhere, her time in Callie's Place is her "time off", and she is one that likes to watch people do people things. Not a particularly good idea to threaten her with violence, however.
