This is kind of another example of me doing something, then liking how an initial thing I did to make sure it was fully filled in and just went with it, even though it kind of diminishes the effect I was originally going with. Anyway, originally I wanted to draw something with a bit of an emotional state and felt like doing something of a sort of an extremely aggressive possessiveness. Also borrowing from the design of RWBY's curious cat I gave them big, glowing eyes and some eye marking that glow. And because I needed a dark background to make sure I could fill things fully. But I liked the darker look and couldn't figure out what else to do so just made it extremely dark with a bit of a backlight and only the markings/teeth and claws fully bright, though ideally the eye should have stayed a bit brighter too. Kind of a meh drawing all things considered, took me 4.25 hours to draw.
